1. Credit Requirements & Grading

To earn credit from CMU, you are required to:

• Complete the work experience
• Take one Disney Education Course
• Turn in a written assignment
• Submit an evaluation completed by your Disney College Program supervisor

Through the Disney College Program, you must attend and successfully complete one of Disney’s courses listed below (course descriptions are available for review at the Disney College Program Website):

Collegiate Courses

• Advance Studies in Hospitality Management
• Corporate Communication
• Creativity and Innovation: Gaining the Edge
• Corporate Analysis
• Experiential Learning
• Human Resources Management
• Marketing You
• Organizational Leadership

Exploration Series

• Exploring Marketing at Disney
• Exploring Leadership at Disney
• Exploring Communication at Disney
• Exploring People Management at Disney
• Exploring Guest Service at Disney

Please note that not all courses are offered at the Disneyland ® Resort.

Written Assignment
The written assignment will be a five to ten page comprehensive report that includes:

• A description of your work and learning experiences;
• Your overall expectations and evaluation of the Disney College Program 
• Two interviews with Cast Members

A letter grade is issued for all credit you are registered for.  Sixty percent (60%) is based on the final performance evaluation.  Forty percent (40%) is based on your written assignment and Disney Education Course completion.

2. Tuition & Fees

* "Fee" refers to $50 Admission Fee
* Tuition subject to change for the Fall 2010 semester

4. Supervision

Your Disney College Program work location will assign a supervisor to you who will give a final performance evaluation at the end of your experience.

CMU also provides a university supervisor who will contact you periodically, meet with you at an on-site fieldwork meeting at your Disney College Program location once during the semester, and will be available to assist you during normal work hours (Eastern Time) via telephone at (989) 774-3984, or anytime by email at dean.wallin@cmich.edu.

5. Transfer of Credit

In order to have your final grades/credit transferred to your school, a transcript request form must be filled out.  This form should be completed and enclosed with your paper and evaluation.  Once a grade has been submitted to the Registrar’s Office, your transcript request will be submitted for processing.  The forwarding of your transcript is a free service for normal 1-3 day processing request.
